
Hungarian Palachintas
Similar to crepes, stuffed with sweetened cottage cheese or jam
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup flour
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup sugar - can choose to add more or less per taste
- 1 tbsp vanilla
- milk
Instructions
- Mix sugar, flour, and eggs together
- Add milk to thin the mixture until it is the consistency of a cream soup
- Add vanilla
- In a greased pan, pour in the mixture as a thin layer, similar to pouring in pancakes (very thin)
- Turn over a let brown some until it looks firm enough to pick up
- Once darkened to your taste, fill with sweetened cottage cheese or jam, and roll over so it is a complete package (like a tortilla)
